Hi! Welcome to the Schnitzelnomaden Team Blog.
We’re Berni, Dani and Lisa and we’re participating in the Mongol Rally 2017. From mid-July 2017 we will be attempting to drive from Austria to Mongolia in a 20 year old Fiat Punto.
The rally is not about being the fastest, it’s more about having unique experiences and raising as much money as possible for charity. For the rally, there’s only 3 simple rules:
- Our car has to be small and shit. That means we’re only allowed to have an engine of 1.2 litres or less
- We’re completely on our own.
- We’re asked to raise a minimum of € 1.500 for charity
